The National Deaf Hotline strives to make sure there is access for survivors, friends, and family members to reach out anytime by providing services that run 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Their services support survivors of domestic violence and/or sexual assault within the Deaf, DeafBlind, DeafDisabled, and Hard-of-Hearing community.

KANE COUNTY 2-1-1

A call to 2-1-1 connects you with ALL human services in Kane County. Operators are standing by to answer questions 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year. Help is available in over 150 different languages. 

Get help with food, clothing, shelter, housing, rent, utility assistance, counseling, substance use, domestic violence, sexual assault, transportation, support groups, senior services, aging parents, childcare, employment, legal assistance and health care. 


KANE COUNTY DRUG TAKE-BACK LOCATIONS

The best way to get rid of unused and expired drugs is to bring them to a take back location. It is important that unused or unwanted medications are safely discarded. Prescription medications can be harmful if used by anyone other than the prescribed patient. Medications such as opioids and cough syrups have a high risk of misuse and could lead to addiction if not monitored by a physician.
