Residential Services
Residential Services at Mutual Ground provide emergency assistance to individuals and families who are seeking safety from domestic violence. The Residential Services team of counselors, case managers, and advocates provides daily support and assistance to everyone who walks through our doors regardless of gender, race, religion, age, sexual orientation, or ability.

Adult Counseling
Mutual Ground’s Adult Counseling Team provides trauma-informed therapy so adults can focus on safety, stability, and hope. Counseling aims to help victims and their friends and family heal from the effects of trauma, explore a variety of coping skills, and reclaim their personal power.
Counseling Services are available in Aurora, Batavia, and Yorkville.

Family Services
Mutual Ground Family Services offer counseling, advocacy, and support to children, teens, and parents impacted by domestic violence.
Family Services aims to help end the cycle of violence by bolstering the unique strengths of each child, providing a safe place to process trauma, and by empowering families to heal.
Legal Advocacy
Mutual Ground Legal Advocacy Services help victims of domestic violence navigate legal systems and understand their rights. Advocates assist clients in obtaining protective orders, accompany clients to court, and provide support throughout the pursuit of safety at home, work, and school.
Medical Advocacy
Mutual Ground Medical Advocacy Services provide crisis intervention, emotional support, and resource information for victims of domestic and sexual violence. Advocates provide emergency response for victims who present in local emergency rooms and law enforcement departments as a result of domestic battery.
